Sanatoriy "Belaya Vezha"
Pryaziorski, Belarus, Belarus
Belaya Vezha (“White Tower”) is a large, state-run health resort and sanatorium located in the village of Pryaziorski (Приозёрский) in the Kamianets District of the Brest Region of Belarus, about 7 kilometers from the town of Kamianets and roughly 40–45 kilometers from Brest.
It sits in a mixed forest dominated by pine, close to the national park Belovezhskaya Pushcha, and is known for its clean, healing air and relaxed natural setting rather than for historic architecture or monuments. Founded around 1999–2000 and significantly upgraded in 2010, the facility originally catered mainly to war veterans, labor veterans, and disabled citizens under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, and in recent years it has also been used as a government-addressed “health base” for certain officials and close associates, a role that has drawn public discussion and media attention.
