Sheffield Beach is a small, exclusive coastal village and beach on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, known as the "Clifton of KwaZulu-Natal" and situated just 9 kilometers north of Ballito on the picturesque Dolphin Coast.

This little gem is located about 53 kilometers northeast of Durban, 10 minutes from Ballito, and just north of Salt Rock, making it one of the most northern resort towns in the area. The beach features sheltered coves and superb rock pools where families can enjoy safe swimming, off-beach snorkeling, and children can spend hours collecting shells and admiring sea anemones in the calm bathing areas created by the rocks.

Visitors can often spot dolphins from the shoreline and whales during whale season in August and September, while the beach offers spectacular views of the coastline. The area has transformed from sugarcane land into sought-after residential estates including Brettenwood Coastal Estate, Seaton Estate, and Sheffield Manor, and it can be accessed via the N2 highway at the Salt Rock interchange.

Despite its small size compared to other beaches in the area, Sheffield Beach provides a relaxed, uncrowded environment perfect for enjoying a peaceful day in the sun.
