Souss-Massa National Park, located south of Agadir on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, is a protected natural area renowned for its diverse landscapes of wetlands, sand dunes, beaches, cliffs, river estuaries, and semi-desert terrain.

Established in 1991, the park is one of North Africa’s most important wildlife conservation sites and is especially famous for protecting one of the world’s last wild populations of the critically endangered northern bald ibis. The park is also a haven for migratory birds and other wildlife, making it a popular destination for birdwatching, nature photography, and exploring Morocco’s rich coastal ecosystems.
