Stonehaven Castle Estate is a historic, castle-style residence set in the Shongweni Valley in outer west Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, about 15 km from Hillcrest.

It was built more than a century ago, mostly from hand‑cut stone, and rises up to five storeys, with around 2,000 square metres of interior space on roughly 30 acres of land that combine formal gardens with indigenous bush. The property has a distinctly “old‑world” character, with features such as multiple fireplaces, terraces.

A wine cellar and panoramic views over the surrounding valley, and has been used both as a private home and as an exclusive retreat or events venue, offering a secluded, country‑estate atmosphere within easy reach of Durban’s outer suburbs.
