Titou Gorge, located near Laudat in Dominica’s Roseau Valley, is a striking volcanic canyon filled with clear, cool water and surrounded by towering basalt rock walls.

Formed by ancient lava flows within Morne Trois Pitons National Park, the gorge is famous for its adventurous swim through a narrow, shaded passage that leads to a hidden waterfall deep inside the canyon. Visitors can float or swim through the emerald-colored waters while enjoying the lush rainforest scenery and dramatic rock formations.

The gorge is also known as a filming location for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and serves as a gateway to the renowned Boiling Lake hiking trail. Its combination of natural beauty, adventure, and unique geology makes Titou Gorge one of Dominica’s most memorable attractions.
