Umkombi Beach (also spelled Umkobi) is a small, scenic stretch of sand on the KwaZulu‑Natal south coast of South Africa, part of the Southbroom area near the popular holiday town of Margate.

It lies along the Indian Ocean and is known for its clean, white sand, relatively calm warm water, and peaceful, low‑key atmosphere compared with busier nearby beaches. The setting is backed by natural coastal vegetation and a lagoon‑like mouth of the Imbezane River, which adds to the sense of seclusion and supports birdlife and occasional wildlife such as water mongoose.

Lifeguards are present in peak holiday periods, and there is basic parking and ablution access, though facilities are limited and visitors are usually advised to bring their own water and snacks. The beach suits relaxed swimming, walking, paddling, light surfing or body‑boarding, and shoreline fishing, making it a quiet, family‑friendly spot rather than a large resort hub.
