Vale Figueiras Beach is a long, open‑faced Atlantic beach on the wild west coast of the Algarve in southwestern Portugal, near the village of Aljezur and the town of Carrapateira.

It lies within the protected Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park, so the setting is very natural, with tall cliffs, big skies, and little in the way of buildings or beachfront development right around the sand. The beach stretches for roughly a kilometer or more at low tide, offering wide golden sand ideal for walking, surfing, or simply getting away from crowded resorts, though the waves are often strong and there are rip currents, so it suits surfers and experienced swimmers more than casual bathers.

Access is by car along a dirt track, and there are no shops, restaurants, or toilets directly on the beach, but the area is popular with surfers, some families, and nature‑lovers who enjoy cliff‑top walks and dramatic sunsets.
