Vierset Castle (Château de Vierset) is a coastal‑moated medieval castle in the hamlet of Vierset‑Barse, part of the municipality of Modave in Liège province, Belgium, originally built in the 11th century by the family of Barse and rebuilt in its present form in the late 18th century on the ruins of earlier fortifications.

The castle is strategically set on a high point overlooking the surrounding countryside and is surrounded on three sides by a moat, an unusual feature that has earned it the nickname “the castle of Countess Goda” in local tradition, while its buildings combine an 18th‑century main house with older defensive elements and a 17th‑century gate‑tower.

The property is officially protected as a listed monument since 1968 and today operates as a historic hotel and bed‑and‑breakfast accommodation, welcoming guests in rooms that preserve traces of the castle’s medieval and baroque past while offering modern comforts and a rural setting close to the more famous Château de Modave and the nature reserve of the Hoyoux valley.
