The Warrnambool Botanical Gardens in Australia, designed by William Guilfoyle in 1879, are one of Victoria’s earliest and most intact provincial botanic gardens. The gardens feature classic design elements such as wide curving paths, expansive lawns, a lily pond, fernery, and a band rotunda, creating a tranquil and picturesque setting.

It holds a diverse collection of plants, including rare conifer species and a notable Lone Pine grown from a Gallipoli seed. The gardens have historical and aesthetic significance, retaining much of their original layout and continuing to provide a peaceful green space for the community with ongoing conservation efforts to maintain Guilfoyle’s vision.
