Anglers' Beach
Hong Kong, China
Anglers’ Beach is a small, quiet beach in Hong Kong located at about the 13th milestone of Castle Peak Road in the Sham Tseng area of Tsuen Wan, facing Ma Wan and the busy bridge corridor of Kap Shui Mun, Ting Kau, and Tsing Ma.
It offers a clean, relaxed setting with barbecue pits, simple changing rooms, toilets, showers, and a fishermen’s‑style pier, making it popular for family picnics, barbecues, and casual sea views rather than for intensive swimming, since lifeguard services are only available in the summer and water quality can vary.
The beach is usually much less crowded than Hong Kong’s main urban beaches, and visitors enjoy watching boats, fishing, and sunset views over the bridges and channel, giving it a calm, low‑key “locals’ spot” feel within the greater Hong Kong metropolitan area.
