The Arboretum in Kórnik, Poland, is the largest and oldest arboretum in the country and the fourth-largest in Europe, established in the early 19th century by Count Tytus Działyński around the historic Kórnik Castle. Covering over 40 hectares, it houses more than 3,300 varieties of trees and shrubs from around the world, including rhododendrons, magnolias, conifers, and many native and exotic species.

The arboretum has been enriched over generations by Działyński’s heirs and later caretakers, becoming a significant site for botanical research and conservation. It features old specimens of both native and foreign trees, neat gardens, and an educational trail showcasing important tree species from different continents.

The arboretum is also home to the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and forms part of a cultural and historical complex with the adjacent Kórnik Castle, recognized as a Monument of History in Poland.
