Asserbo Charterhouse is a historic monastery and fortress ruin located in Asserbo in northern Zealand, Denmark.

It was founded in the 12th century by Bishop Absalon as a Carthusian monastery, making it one of the earliest attempts to establish this monastic order in Scandinavia. However, the monastery was short-lived and was abandoned by 1169. After its monastic period, the site became part of the estates of Sorø Abbey and later served as a fortified manor and agricultural center.

Over time, ownership passed between the Crown and various noble families, and a small village developed nearby. By the early 18th century, drifting sand had buried much of the site, leaving it abandoned until excavations uncovered the ruins in the 19th century. Today, Asserbo Charterhouse is an important archaeological and historical landmark, where visitors can see the remains of the medieval complex, including its earthworks, moat, and defensive features.
