Balneario Público de Rincón, also known as Rincón Town Beach or Balneario de Rincón, is the main public beach in Rincón on Puerto Rico’s western coast, recognized as a great beach for everyone popular with both locals and tourists.

This sandy beach features clear blue water perfect for swimming, snorkeling, seashell collecting, kayaking, and standup paddleboarding, with boats often moored offshore. The beach is particularly famous for having some of the best sunsets in Puerto Rico, making it a favorite spot for evening visits.

It offers full amenities including free parking, public restrooms, outdoor showers, changing rooms, picnic areas with pavilions and tables for shade, and monitored water quality that passes tests 60-95% of the time. The beach hosted the triathlon events for the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games and stays clean and safe, with paddleboard rentals available for about $15 per hour and life jackets also accessible.
