Blâmont is a small historic town in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department of northeastern France, close to the Vosges Mountains.

It has a long history dating back to the Middle Ages and was once an important center of the County of Blâmont in the historic region of Lorraine. The town is best known for the Château de Blâmont, a medieval fortress whose origins date to the late 12th and early 13th centuries.

Although the castle suffered damage during several conflicts, including World War II, its impressive ruins and surviving towers remain among the most notable medieval landmarks in Lorraine. Blâmont developed around this strategic stronghold and played an important role in controlling regional routes and trade.
