Casimir Castle in Przemyśl, southeastern Poland, is a Renaissance fortress built after 1340 by King Casimir III the Great on Castle Hill (270 m above sea level), replacing an earlier 11th-century Romanesque rotunda and palatium from Bolesław I the Brave's era. 

Damaged by Vlach invasions in 1498 and rebuilt for Piotr Kmita Sobieński, it underwent major 16th-17th century Renaissance reconstruction under town elder Marcin Krasicki with Italian architect Galleazzo Appiani, adding towers, attics, and housing, followed by Stanisław Poniatowski's 1759-1762 fortifications including buttresses and walls.

After Austrian military use post-partitions and as a dramatic society seat from 1884, it now serves as a cultural center hosting Poland's oldest amateur theater, the Aleksander Fredro group, amid scenic Castle Park.
