Castle Peak Beach
China, China
Castle Peak Beach is a gazetted public beach in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong, located along the South China Sea within Castle Peak Bay.
It is a relatively small but well‑maintained sandy stretch, about 250 meters long, with a designated swimming zone protected by a shark net and calm to moderate waves that suit casual swimmers and families.
The beach faces out over the bay and is close to Sam Shing Estate and other local facilities, including barbecue areas, children’s play zones, seating spaces, and a two‑storey beach building with toilets, change rooms, and showers.
Once closed for many years due to pollution, the beach has been cleaned and upgraded, and it now functions as an accessible urban seaside spot popular for swimming, picnics, and relaxing with easy bus or MTR‑bus access from wider Hong Kong.
