Château de Lutzelhardt is a medieval castle ruin located near Obersteinbach in the Bas-Rhin department of northeastern France, within the scenic Northern Vosges region.

Built during the 13th century, the fortress is notable for its semi-troglodytic design, with parts of the structure carved directly into a sandstone rock outcrop. Originally constructed to help protect the surrounding territory and important local routes, the castle was owned by several noble families over the centuries, including the Fleckensteins.

It suffered damage during regional conflicts, was repaired at times, and had already fallen into ruin by the 16th century. Today, visitors can explore the remains of the keep, defensive walls, cisterns, wells, rock-cut rooms, and other structures that illustrate medieval life and architecture. Set above wooded valleys on a dramatic rocky ridge, the site offers both historical interest and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
