Château Saint-Rémy d'Altenstadt is a ruined medieval castle located in Wissembourg, in the Bas-Rhin department of Alsace, France. Built before 1349, it was one of four castles constructed to protect the Wissembourg Abbey. The lowland castle has an approximately trapezoidal layout with several round corner towers.
Over the centuries, it played a defensive role in the region but fell into ruin. It has been recognized as a historical monument since 1989 for its architectural and cultural significance. Today, only remnants of the castle remain, reflecting its medieval heritage and its past importance in guarding the abbey and the surrounding territory.
