Clémency Castle (Château de Clémency) is a small historic castle located in the village of Clémency, now part of the municipality of Käerjeng in southwestern Luxembourg, near the Belgian border. Built in 1665 by Johann Ferdinand von Blanchard using materials from an older nearby fortress, the castle was later remodeled in the Baroque style and underwent further alterations in the 18th century. Unlike large medieval fortresses, Clémency Castle is a modest residential castle situated beside the village church, giving it a more intimate and manor-like character. After periods of decline, it was extensively restored and renovated in the 2000s, preserving its historic architecture while incorporating modern comforts. Today, the castle is known both as a heritage landmark and as a unique guest accommodation, offering visitors the chance to stay in a centuries-old building surrounded by the peaceful Luxembourg countryside.
