Dynæs Voldsted is a medieval castle site located on the Dynæs peninsula by Julsø near Silkeborg, Denmark.

Today, only the earthworks remain, including a large castle mound, defensive ditches, and traces of fortifications that once protected an important stronghold overlooking the lake and surrounding waterways. The site was likely built between 1250 and 1350 during a turbulent period in Danish history when local nobles established fortified refuges for protection.

Archaeologists have found evidence of a heavily fortified tower, a moat, and possibly a drawbridge, showing that the castle was designed for defense. Dynæs was once associated with Valdemar IV and later belonged to the Bishopric of Aarhus. Although the castle eventually fell into ruin after the Reformation, the site remains an important historical landmark, valued for its medieval heritage, scenic lake views, and peaceful natural surroundings.
