Hvidkilde Gods
Hvidkilde, Denmark, Denmark
Hvidkilde Gods is a historic manor estate located near Svendborg on the island of Funen in Denmark.
The estate’s history stretches back to the Middle Ages, with records dating from the 14th and 15th centuries, while the present main building was constructed around 1550 and later expanded in the Baroque style in 1742 by architect Philip de Lange. The manor is beautifully situated beside Hvidkilde Lake and is known for its elegant three-winged architecture, historic interiors, and scenic parkland.
Over the centuries, it became the seat of the Barony of Lehn and was owned by several prominent Danish noble families, including the Lehn and Lehn families. Today, Hvidkilde Gods remains a privately owned estate and an important cultural landmark on southern Funen. Its combination of historic architecture, natural surroundings, and centuries of aristocratic heritage makes it one of the region’s most notable manor houses.
