Kazimierz Dolny Castle, overlooking the Vistula River in the historic Renaissance town of Kazimierz Dolny, Poland, consists of 14th-century Gothic fortifications including a prominent cylindrical tower known as the Łokietek Tower—built around 1300 with 4-meter-thick walls, a barrel shape for defense, and an elevated entrance 6 meters up—and a larger lower castle of elongated polygonal walls (30x65 meters) with buttresses, arrowslits, and a courtyard once featuring wooden buildings.

Erected under King Casimir the Great in the 1350s to protect a customs chamber and river trade, it expanded in the 15th century with a residential wing, four-sided tower, bathhouse, and brick quadrilateral tower, serving later as a starosty under Knights Templar control.

Damaged by Swedish forces in the 1650s Deluge and eroded over time, its picturesque ruins now offer panoramic views alongside the town's artistic heritage and cliffs.
