L’Aboiteau Beach, also known as Aboiteau Beach, is a well‑kept, five‑kilometre‑long sandy beach on the Northumberland Strait in Cap‑Pelé, New Brunswick, Canada, in the heart of the Acadian region.
It is recognized as the first saltwater beach in Canada to receive the Blue Flag eco‑certification and the first in eastern Canada to earn Rainbow‑friendly status, reflecting strong water quality, environmental care, and inclusive services. The beach is known for its warm saltwater in summer, soft sand, dunes, a viewing tower from which visitors can often see Prince Edward Island, and facilities such as washrooms, showers, a boardwalk, volleyball courts, a licensed restaurant, and nearby cottage rentals.
It is a popular family‑oriented spot, open seasonally from early summer to mid‑September, with a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and occasional events and activities organized during the high season.
