The Lijiang Gaoshan Botanical Garden in Yunnan, China, is situated on the southern slopes of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, spanning altitudes from about 2,680 to 4,300 meters and covering nearly 279 hectares.

Known as one of the highest botanical gardens in the world, it features a unique alpine environment with diverse plant species adapted to high altitudes. The garden protects rare and endemic flora, showcasing over 3,500 species of higher plants from several vegetation types including tropical, subtropical, and alpine plants.
