Łownica is a small village in south-central Poland's Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within Opatów County's Gmina Lipnik, located about 6 km southwest of Lipnik, 12 km south of Opatów, and 61 km east of Kielce.

It features the ruins of a medieval knightly manor house or small castle called "Łokietkowy zamek" on Janikowa Góra (also known as Góra Zamkowa), a steep hill above the Łowniczanka stream, associated with the Topór coat-of-arms noble family from nearby Ossolin and possibly originating in the early 14th century under King Władysław Łokietek.

Now reduced to scattered bricks in overgrown terrain with no standing walls—its materials reportedly reused in local homes—the site inspired legends of hidden treasures guarded by spirits, golden flashes, and underground tunnels linking to castles like Ossolin and Krzyżtopór, drawing occasional explorers despite its obscurity.
