Marielyst - Bøtø Strand is a charming coastal area in Væggerløse on the island of Falster, Denmark, renowned for its stunning 20-kilometer-long white sandy beach along the Baltic Sea.

The beach is exceptionally child-friendly with shallow, calm waters that allow even the youngest children to splash safely at the water's edge, making it one of Denmark's best family beaches. In a 2011 survey of Danish beaches, Marielyst's beach ranked first and was judged particularly suitable for children.

The beach features wild grassy dunes that provide shelter on windy days for picnics or relaxation, plus a beautiful walking and cycling path along the dunes offering peaceful views of the sea. The bathing water quality is high and environmentally friendly, with lifeguards present during summer months. Marielyst itself is a 100-year-old seaside resort town with over 6,000 holiday homes, hotels, restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, and shops at its center.

Nearby activities include mini golf, go-karting, paintball, windsurfing, kite surfing, and SUP lessons, plus a folk high school with concerts overlooking the sea. The area offers good bathing opportunities for both summer and winter bathers, with a pier set up in summer.
