Modliszewice is a village located in the administrative district of Gmina Końskie, within Końskie County in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship of south-central Poland. It is situated about 4 kilometers west of Końskie town and 40 kilometers northwest of Kielce, the regional capital.

Historically, Modliszewice was first mentioned in documents dating back to the 13th century and was known to be owned by a feudal lord named Andrzej Modliszewski in the 15th century. A notable feature of the village is the Modliszewice Manor, a 16th-century manor that was once owned by the same noble family and later purchased by a bishop; its remnants partially survive today. The village had a population of approximately 1,241 in 2021, having slightly declined from 1,370 in 2016.

The government undertook road renovations in the village in 2022. Modliszewice is divided into six sections, including Karolinów, Nowa Droga, Szpital, W Gościńcu, Za Karczmą, and Za Stawem.
