Praia dos Ingleses is a busy, popular beach located in the neighborhood of Ingleses do Rio Vermelho in the northern part of Santa Catarina Island, Florianópolis, Brazil. Stretching nearly 5 kilometers, the beach features warm, blue waters with calm areas suitable for children and elderly visitors, while other sections have strong waves ideal for surfing, bodyboarding, and paddleboarding.

It is known for its extensive sand dunes where sandboarding is a common activity, and boating tours are also available. The area has grown into a major tourist hub with abundant infrastructure including shopping centers, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, and local markets, supporting a large resident population of over 10,000 people.

The beach’s name comes from an English ship that ran aground there, with local legends about the fate of its crew. Praia dos Ingleses offers a lively atmosphere with opportunities for fishing traditions, scenic nature trails, and cultural experiences, making it a vibrant destination year-round.
