Safari World
Bangkok, Thailand, Thailand
Safari World in Bangkok is a large wildlife and entertainment complex in the Khlong Sam Wa district, about 45 minutes from central Bangkok, covering roughly 200 acres and often described as one of Asia’s largest open‑air zoos.
It is divided into two main areas: the Safari Park, where visitors can see lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras, and other animals roaming in expansive enclosures either from a safari‑style vehicle or designated walkways, and the Marine Park, which features dolphin and sea‑lion shows, elephant demonstrations, bird presentations, and other live animal performances.
The park also offers a river‑cruise‑style Jungle Cruise, feeding experiences with giraffes and big cats, and a mix of snack outlets and souvenir shops, making it a popular full‑day family outing for tourists and locals who want to combine wildlife viewing with themed shows and light entertainment.
