It is a gazetted beach about 194 metres long, known for its calm turquoise water, soft sand, and safe swimming conditions, making it a favorite spot for families and casual visitors. The beach is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and offers barbecue pits, changing rooms, showers, toilets, a fast‑food kiosk, and a water sports centre, plus it often hosts events such as dragon boat races and windsurfing activities.
