Tenaru Falls is a tall, picturesque waterfall in the rainforest of Central Guadalcanal Province in the Solomon Islands, about 60–63 meters high and fed by the Chea River. It lies roughly two kilometers inland from a small local village and is regarded as one of the most impressive and scenic waterfalls in the country. Reaching the falls involves a hike through lush jungle, with several river crossings and sometimes slippery terrain, so visitors are usually advised to go with a local guide and obtain permission from the village chief. The pool at the base is known for its cool, clear turquoise water, making it a popular spot for swimming and photography.
