Toco is a small coastal village on the far northeast tip of Trinidad, in Trinidad and Tobago, sitting at the point where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean.
It is the most northeasterly settlement on the island and the closest mainland point to the sister island of Tobago, about 35 kilometers away. Toco is known for its quiet, rural atmosphere, fishing‑village roots, and a cluster of nearby beaches such as Saline Bay, Patience Beach, and Balandra Bay that attract surfers and nature‑oriented visitors.
The area also features the historic Galera Point Lighthouse, scenic coastal views, and access to activities like turtle watching, hiking, and kayaking along Trinidad’s lush northeast coastline.
