Tour du Château Schlossberg is the iconic tower of the former Château du Schlossberg, a historic fortress that overlooks the town of Forbach in the Moselle department of northeastern France.

The original castle was first mentioned in the 13th century and grew into an important fortified residence before being destroyed in 1634 during the Thirty Years’ War on the orders of King Louis XIII. The present octagonal tower was built in 1891 on the castle site and has become the symbol of Forbach. Rising above the ruins and the surrounding Schlossberg Park, it stands about 30 meters tall and is reached by climbing 118 steps.

Visitors come for the impressive panoramic views from the top, which overlook Forbach, the surrounding countryside, and nearby Germany.
