Turtle Cove Beach
Hong Kong, China
Turtle Cove Beach is a small, gazetted public beach in the Southern District of Hong Kong, situated on the south side of Hong Kong Island between Stanley and Tai Tam Reservoir.
It is about 73 metres long and is often described as a quiet “baby beach” with clear waters, soft sand, and a relaxed atmosphere, partly shaded by trees and surrounded by green hills. The beach is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and offers barbecue pits, changing rooms, showers, toilets, and a playground, and it is rated as Grade 1 for water quality, though it is closed to the public from June to October each year to protect nesting green turtles.
