The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) is the second-largest division of the University of Toronto, Canada’s largest university, and was established in 1967 starting with just 155 students, 28 faculty members, and one temporary building before growing into a major campus.

Today, UTM serves more than 16,000 undergraduate students and 900 graduate students across 180+ programs and 90 areas of study, offering degrees through 19 academic units including 15 departments and four specialized institutions like the Institute for Management & Innovation and the Institute of Communication, Culture, Information and Technology.

The campus features award-winning modern facilities set on protected greenbelt land where students can spot deer, including the large William G. Davis academic building, the Recreation, Athletics & Wellness Centre, and the Terrence Donnelly Health Sciences Complex that houses the Mississauga Academy of Medicine.

UTM provides $36 million annually in student scholarships and financial support, strong co-op and internship opportunities, and is consistently ranked by top companies as producing Canada’s most employable graduates.
