Zamek Rycerski w Chobieni, located in Lubin County, Poland, originated from a Slavic fortified settlement mentioned as early as 845, with stone fortifications likely built in the 14th century.

In 1583, Georg von Kottwitz replaced the medieval stronghold with the current four-winged Renaissance castle surrounding a rectangular courtyard, featuring three cylindrical corner towers, a western gate tower, and decorative elements like painted ceilings with heraldic motifs.

It underwent Baroque modifications after a 1722 fire, including moat filling, hosted Frederick II of Prussia in 1759 after the Battle of Kunersdorf, suffered World War II damage, and has since seen conservation efforts preserving its Renaissance portals, vaults, and stucco fragments. Today, this historic residence stands as a key cultural heritage site in Lower Silesia.
