Andrano is a small historic town in the Salento part of Puglia, in the province of Lecce in southeast Italy.

It sits inland but is very close to the Adriatic coast, with a character that mixes a quiet, traditional village feel with easy access to beaches and coves to the southeast. The town is known above all for its imposing 13th‑century castle, later refined as a noble residence by the Spinola‑Caracciolo family, which still dominates the center and gives Andrano much of its medieval charm.

Andrano also has several historic churches, including the 16th‑century Church of the Dominicans and the Church of St. Andrew the Apostle, reflecting its long religious and cultural history. The coastal part, Marina di Andrano, lies about 3 kilometers away and offers cliffs, small coves, and clear emerald‑green sea, making it a pleasant, less crowded alternative to the bigger nearby resorts.
