Arboretum Villanova
Villanova, Pennsylvania, United States
Arboretum Villanova was a 222-acre arboretum located across the Villanova University campus in Pennsylvania, featuring around 1,500 trees from 254 species including sequoia, sycamore, pine, flowering pear, crabapple, cherry, and horse chestnut.
It was designated an arboretum in 1993 but has since lost that status. The trees were maintained by the university’s Grounds Division, serving both as a living classroom for students and a public green space open daily without charge. The area offered a peaceful natural retreat with many labeled trees representing diverse botanical varieties.
