Badingen
Germany, Germany
Badingen is a small street village and district in Zehdenick, Brandenburg, northern Germany, first documented in 1267 and once the center of the Badingen and Himmelpfort lordships held by the noble von Badingen family.
It features one of Brandenburg's oldest Renaissance fortified houses from the 16th century and a 13th-century fieldstone evangelical church, with around 620 residents as of late 2023. Another Badingen exists near Bismark in Saxony-Anhalt, first mentioned in 1331 as a parish village and seat of the same noble family, with a manor house rebuilt in the 19th century that later served various communal uses.
