Bagolatao is a barangay (village) in the municipality of Minalabac, in the province of Camarines Sur in the Bicol Region (Region V) of Luzon, Philippines, located along Ragay Gulf about 25 kilometers from Naga City. The coastal barangay has a population of 1,277 people according to the 2020 census, representing 2.37% of Minalabac's total population, and sits at an elevation of approximately 129 meters above sea level at coordinates 13.46°N, 123.16°E. Bagolatao is best known for its unique and picturesque beach featuring astonishing white pebbles lining the shore instead of regular sand, with placid turquoise or azure waters, a three-kilometer shoreline, and vegetated coastline, making it a serene and less crowded getaway perfect for relaxation. The beach offers a tranquil, natural experience with minimal development, low light pollution ideal for stargazing, and beautiful scenery, though it lacks major eateries so visitors typically bring their own food. Local cottages are affordable, ranging from ₱150-₱250 for basic shelters or ₱500-₱700 for open cottages, and boat rentals are available for just ₱20 per person or ₱300 for larger group boats, with destinations including a mini-falls and mini-caves about 10-15 minutes away by rowing. Bagolatao is accessible by land via motorcycle, public jeepney (PUJ), or private vehicle taking 40-60 minutes from Naga City, or by water through a motorized boat from Pasacao port.
