Baku Boulevard
Baku, Azerbaijan
Baku Boulevard, also known as the Seaside National Park, is a long waterfront promenade running along the Caspian Sea in the heart of Baku, Azerbaijan’s capital.
First laid out in 1909 when oil barons built mansions along the shore and the city created a green embankment, it has grown from a simple coastal park into a multi-kilometer strip of landscaped paths, lawns, and plazas used for walking, jogging, and family outings.
Today the boulevard features cafes and restaurants, a Ferris wheel, modern shopping centers, small amusement rides, museums like the Carpet Museum, and views of landmarks such as the Old City and Flame Towers, making it a lively place day and night for both locals and visitors.
