Banchette Castle is a historic castle in the town of Banchette, near Ivrea in Piedmont.

Its origins date back to the medieval period, when it was built as a fortified residence to control an important route through the Canavese area. Over time, it evolved from a defensive fortress into a noble residence. The castle is distinguished by its brick architecture, square tower, crenellated walls, and neo-Gothic features added during major restorations in the 19th century.

Although it underwent periods of damage and decline, careful rebuilding helped preserve its historic character. Today, surrounded by a large park and accessed by a tree-lined avenue, Banchette Castle is a well-preserved landmark that serves as a venue for weddings, cultural events, and private celebrations, while continuing to reflect the region’s rich medieval heritage.
