Beningaburg is a small medieval lowland water castle in the town of Dornum, in the East Frisian district of Aurich in Lower Saxony, Germany.

It was originally built in the 14th century on a marshy site, one of three chieftain‑type fortresses in the town alongside the Westerburg and Norderburg, and later became the seat of the noble Beninga family, after whom it was renamed.

The moat‑surrounded complex has survived into modern times and was restored in the 20th century before being converted into a hotel and restaurant, with the so‑called ancestral hall still displaying reproductions of portraits of the Beninga lineage.

Today the Beningaburg sits in the historic town center, combining its role as a functioning hotel and gastropub with its status as a visible medieval heritage site in the East Frisian landscape.
