Bollendorf is a municipality of around 1,766 residents in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, situated on the Sauer River's left bank opposite Luxembourg's Bollendorf-Pont.

First mentioned in 716 AD when its castle was acquired by Echternach Abbey, the site served as a provost's office and abbots' summer residence, with medieval curtain walls and a round tower later transformed in Baroque style during 1619 and 1739-1776 expansions under Abbot Gregorius Schouppe.

Today the restored castle operates as a hotel-restaurant complex, while the village preserves historic elements like the 18th-century Schlossmühle mill alongside a poignant Jewish cemetery memorializing a community established around 1843 with its own synagogue until Nazi destruction in 1938.
