The Botanical Garden and Herbarium of the University of Bologna is one of Italy’s oldest botanical institutions, founded in 1568 by Ulisse Aldrovandi.

It is both a teaching space and a research center, and visitors can see everything from tropical and succulent plants to medicinal and native species.
