Botanical Garden Rea, known as Giardino Botanico Rea, is a botanical garden located at 450 meters altitude in Val Sangone near San Bernardino di Trana in the Province of Turin, Piedmont region of northern Italy.
Founded in 1967 as a private institution by Giuseppe Giovanni Bellia, it was acquired by the Piedmont Region in 1989 and opened to the public in 1992, now housing over 2,500 plant species across themed sections.
Highlights include collections of rare foothill species, succulents, carnivorous plants like Aldrovanda vesiculosa and Dionaea muscipula in heated greenhouses, local trees and shrubs, aquatic plants, medical herbs, and ornamental varieties focused on conservation and education.
