Burg Hatzfeld is a 13th-century spur castle ruin perched on a hillside at 435 meters above the Eder Valley east of Hatzfeld in Hesse's Waldeck-Frankenberg district, Germany, serving as the ancestral seat of the Lords of Hatzfeld first documented in 1282.

Operating as a Ganerbschaft with shared family ownership led to internal conflicts resolved by Burgfrieden treaties, like the 1331 division allowing dual residential buildings, before it began decaying in the 16th century and was partially demolished by 1842.

Still privately owned by Count Sebastian von Hatzfeldt, the site features preserved elements such as a southeastern flank tower and gate, maintained by a local history association that has uncovered medieval artifacts during recent restorations.
