Burg im Hain in Obertshausen, Germany, was a medieval water castle with origins likely dating back to the early Middle Ages and first mentioned in records in 1576.

It was a typical tower castle featuring a round central tower about 10 meters in diameter, surrounded by a strong ring wall roughly 28 by 31 meters in size. A moat filled with water, likely sustained by the area's high groundwater, encircled the castle. Over time, the castle was gradually dismantled and used as a quarry for building materials, leaving only some wall and foundation remains today.

Excavations in the 20th century uncovered parts of the walls and moat, revealing the site's historical layout. The castle served both as a defensive structure and a symbol of power for the noble family that controlled it. Its remains are of local historical significance as the oldest settlement traces in Obertshausen and can be visited with some sketches and artistic interpretations on display in local museums.
