Burg Rittersdorf in Rittersdorf, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, is a remarkably well-preserved 700-year-old moated water castle located 3 km north of Bitburg in the Eifel region, first documented in 1263 when Theoderich von Rittersdorf built it for Trier's St. Maximin Abbey to secure the vital Trier-Cologne road.

Its standout features include a dominant 26-meter round bergfried tower approved by King Rudolf of Habsburg in 1290, a Renaissance three-story palas residential building from 1550 by the Lords of Enschringen with Roman-era stone foundations, and an ornate 1575 courtyard gate showcasing late medieval and Renaissance residential style.

Restored after 1971 communal ownership and private sale, it now houses a fine local cuisine restaurant, small local history museum, and Gothic Knights' Hall registry office for weddings, offering an authentic glimpse into noble living.
