Burg Schnellerts in Brensbach, Germany, is a ruined hilltop castle from the early 13th century in the northern Odenwald, built on Schnellertsberg with a hexagonal layout featuring a round bergfried tower, thick ring wall, gatehouse, and moat, likely by local nobles like the Lords of Crumbach or Frankenstein amid regional power struggles.

Destroyed violently around 1300 as evidenced by arrowheads, catapult stones, and fire damage after about a century of use, its remains were mistaken for Roman until 1886 excavations confirmed medieval origins, with modern restoration by the Forschungsgemeinschaft Schnellerts e.V. since 1976.

Accessible via short hikes from Stierbach, the site offers a glimpse into low nobility life, with artifacts displayed in Brensbach's museum and ties to local Rodenstein legends.
